Terms of Use
Rules for using the SUBXCAT website: the status of prices and estimates, AI assistant answers, articles, liability and intellectual property.
Version of October 25, 2026.
1. Acceptance
1.1. These terms govern the use of subxcat.com (“the site”), owned by the SUBXCAT team (“we”). By using the site you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1.2. Processing of personal data is described in a separate privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
2. The site is not an offer
2.1. Information on the site, including service descriptions, plans, “from” prices, timelines and examples, is for information only and does not constitute a public offer.
2.2. Prices are stated in US dollars as a lower bound. Amounts in local currency are calculated automatically using exchange rates from public sources, are rounded and serve as a guide; they may differ from actual amounts.
2.3. The scope, cost, timeline and terms of any work are defined solely by a contract signed by both parties (and its annexes). Sending a request creates no obligation for you or for us.
3. AI assistant and rough estimate
3.1. The conversation on the site is run by an automated assistant based on a language model. Its replies are generated automatically, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and do not constitute advice — legal, financial, technical or otherwise — nor a promise or guarantee of any result.
3.2. The rough estimate shown by the assistant is calculated automatically from the conversation, without examining the code or the product. It is not an offer to enter into a contract and does not oblige us to perform work at the stated price. The exact cost is determined after a project review and set out in a contract.
3.3. Do not give the assistant passwords, access keys, payment data or trade secrets. You are responsible for the content of what you submit and for having the right to submit it.
3.4. Using the assistant for anything other than its purpose — generating unrelated content, attempting to bypass its limits, mass automated requests — is prohibited. We may restrict access to the assistant without giving reasons.
4. Articles and materials
4.1. Articles, news and other materials are published for information, “as is”, and reflect the authors’ views as of the publication date. Technology changes, and materials may become outdated.
4.2. We do not guarantee that the materials suit your task and are not liable for the consequences of applying them. You decide whether to apply any advice, code samples or settings at your own risk; back up before changing a live product.
5. Intellectual property
5.1. The texts, articles, design, logo, illustrations and code of the site belong to SUBXCAT or are used lawfully. Quoting is permitted to the extent justified by the purpose, with attribution and a link to the page. Full copying or republication without written consent is prohibited.
5.2. Names and marks of third-party products and companies (such as development tools and cloud services) belong to their owners and are mentioned only to describe compatibility and experience. Mentioning them does not imply partnership or endorsement.
6. Limitation of liability
6.1. The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
6.2. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages, lost profits, loss of data or reputation arising from the use of the site, its materials or assistant replies, or from the inability to use them.
6.3. We are not responsible for the content or operation of third-party sites and services linked from the site.
7. Prohibited use
You may not attempt unauthorised access to the site or server, disrupt its operation, send spam or automated requests, scrape the site by automated means beyond what robots.txt allows, or impersonate others.
8. Changes
We may change these terms. A new version applies from its publication on this page. By continuing to use the site you accept it.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the contractor’s country of registration unless a contract states otherwise. Disputes are settled by negotiation; failing that, as provided by the contract or applicable law. Before going to court, a written claim must be sent to hello@subxcat.com; the response period is 30 days.
